Spring in the mountains
Spring is a messy, unpredictable, beautiful, and magical season. Everyone’s experience with spring is different around the world, this is a bit about our spring here in the mountains of the north woods and how messy and difficult it can be but that it all comes back to life more beautiful than the last.
Homeschool
How I got into homeschooling, and a glimpse of what it looks like for our family. Homeschooling is not for everyone, but don’t let the feeling of inadequacy or intimidation get in the way of your choice. There is no one more qualified to teach our children than us!
Our horses on our homestead
This blog is a little bit about our horses on our homestead, and some of the things we have learned moving to the mountains with them. Going from a flatlander to the mountains has come with a few learning curves that changed the way we do somethings compared to how we used to. I cant wait to continue on with growing our property and watching our kids learn and thrive.
My love hate relationship with winter
Winter!! I do not like winter very much, but there is also so much beauty in it. I went on a rant in this blog about some of my frustrations with winter and things that come along with it, but truth is i am completely blessed and grateful for everything in my life. It’s okay to rant and complain about things that get under our skin, as long as we take a step back and appreciate the little things this life has to offer.
How we got here.
My Family and I moved to the mountains in 2018. In this blog I talk a bit about our move 300 miles North, and some of the chaos it took to get here.
