pizza dough
Pizza Pizza Pizza! Just about every pizza is good, and just about everything is good on pizza. From breakfast pizza all the way to desert pizza it is for sure a favorite in the house, and we have it at least once a week. The basis of all pizza is of coarse the crust, and I love this pizza dough recipe because it checks all the boxes for a great simple pizza dough.
-Cute little dough kneading hands-
It’s simple and quick to make,
refrigerates well to make later,
and the crust on it is amazing. Can
be nice and browned without
being too crunchy on the bottom
or having that cardboard crust that
you don’t even want to pass on to
the dogs.
Ingredients
( makes two 12 inch pizza crust )
1 package active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 cup of warm water
2 ½ cups flower
2 tbsp of oil
1 tsp salt
Directions
Warm your water to 100 degrees, you don’t want it more or less you need it warm enough to activate the yeast, but not too hot that it will kill it.
Then dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let it stand for about 5 to 10 min until its creamy and frothy.
After stir in the flour, salt, and oil and fold all ingredients until a smooth dough forms and let rest for about 5 to 10 minutes.
After your do has rested, divide dough in half and roll each ball out on floured surface to create your crust.
Then top with your favorite toppings and cook for 10 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees till crust is browned
